On Monday night’s episode of DWTS, the three finalists were revealed: Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and former NFL player Calvin Johnson Jr. Each managed to earn perfect scores for their freestyle routines. Hernandez performed a playground-themed routine that received rave reviews from the judges, but seemed weird since she’s 16 and not 6. Hinchcliffe delivered a touching dance that took the audience through the story of his car accident, while Johnson did a high-energy dance with plenty of lifts. Meanwhile, actress and country singer Jana Kramer was eliminated. “It was our time,” she admitted after giving a hug to her pro partner Gleb Savchenko. “He’s the most incredible partner and I’ve learned so much about myself and what I can do and how strong I can really be, and he’s given me all that.” One of the remaining three dancers will be crowned with the Mirror Ball trophy on Tuesday night.
